Christmastown Maze, annual tree lighting. and Kristmas Town Kiwanis Christmas block party on Railroad Ave are just a few reasons to head downtown this weekend! Roast marshmallows, ride kiddie trains, make crafts, and sing carols while enjoying the festive decorations and lights lining the shops. On Saturday, December 7, the Kristmas Town Kiwanis Santa parade starts at 5 PM. Come enjoy floats, free hot cocoa, live music, and more fun activities for the family!
Yule Tide Celebration | Hoodsport, December 13-14
Join us in Hoodsport, December 13-14, for fun activities, visits with Santa, shopping, and boat rides with YSS Dive. The Caroling Walk starts at YSS Dive at 5:30 PM, Saturday ending at the Fjord Oyster Bank on Finch Creek.
Celebrate the Festival of Firs on the southern Olympic Peninsula, starting Thanksgiving weekend with tree hunts and lightings. Create a family tradition by going to the Olympic National Forest to find your own Christmas tree. Get a $5 permit online, grab a saw, and enjoy exploring the charming communities along Hood Canal.
Book a cabin or suite by the water and immerse yourself in the holiday spirit! Enjoy delicious shellfish, holiday markets, cozy restaurants, live music, and family activities throughout the month.
Don’t miss Shelton’s Guinness World Record Lighted Christmas Tree Maze and the parade of decorated boats on Hammersley Inlet!
In 2024 local volunteers, including the folks at Kristmas Town Kiwanis and Shelton Downtown Merchants will come together once more to present indoor & outdoor festivities along with a tribute Christmas tree maze .This year it will even SNOW in the maze for events!
